Do you need a Workforce Audit?

Global Workforce

In addition to the products and services we deliver directly, we want to ensure we partner with best-in-class experts for specific circumstances.

You will recall our recent announcement with CoComply, which specialises in helping businesses to engage independent contractors in the UK compliantly. They offer specialist consultancy advice in undertaking discovery and investigation exercises, risk profiling, project management and implementation.

They would like to offer all of our clients a 30-minute virtual session with a dedicated IR35 consultant.

This will involve a discussion around your UK contingent worker/contractor population, with feedback and information being provided around potential gaps and risk posture.

CoComply support independent contractors in the UK, and if you have a range of workers across multiple territories, we would love to support you with a Global Workforce Audit.

Please email client.services@briarsgroup.com for more information on both the 30-minute consultancy session with CoComply or on our Global Workforce Audit.

The full CoComply risk assessment and cost saving analysis encompasses:

Part 1 – Initial overview:

  • Work done to date by the client
  • Discussion of high level data
  • Discussion of role types and rates and the current process for assessing status
  • Organisational maturity discussion and general tips
  • Worker classification statuses

Part 2 – Feedback and indicative risk posture, including:

  • Potential risk with the current assessment process
  • Indicative risk (value) of misclassification
  • Considerations in regard to ‘hidden headcount’
  • Indicative cost savings that could be driven with improved processes

Part 3 – Feedback summary, detailing:

  • Findings from part 1 and 2
  • Actions that could be taken to mitigate risk
    • Quick wins
    • Additional updates that could be implemented
    • Any recent or anticipated changes to the legislation
    • Next steps and how CoComply can support

We have seen this activity drive incremental revenue, enable ease of reporting and visibility as well as helping to mitigate risk from HMRC auditing and fines.

Again, please email client.services@briarsgroup.com for more information.
